TSYS established a European presence in 1999, opening our first office in London, UK, and has since devoted significant attention to the European market.  

The initial European base has provided TSYS with convenient access to major payments markets throughout Europe and positioned TSYS to provide excellent customer service, leading-edge technology and support.  

In 2000, TSYS successfully converted millions of accounts for one of Europe's largest financial institutions and continues to grow our client base across continental Europe.  

Today, we are a leading competitor in the European payment processing business, supporting more than 33 million accounts across the European region and providing compelling processing and licensing alternatives.  

Our state-of-the-art European data centre, purpose built in 2004, houses the most advanced technology environment, providing levels of resilience and redundancy unmatched by our competitors. Today, we have offices and facilities in more than eight European locations.  

In 2006, TSYS acquired a global provider of licensed PRIME card management software with a European track record dating back to the early 1990s, working with leading multi-national banks.
